Hana and I spent a long weekend in Tamarindo, Costa Rica to celebrate the marriage of our friends. A short three hour flight from Houston, the Central American country was an absolute treat. From the unique trees, to the sleepy town center, it was a wonderful four days in what felt like a far away land.
The town of Tamarindo itself is a small beach town with few attractions outside of a long beach and strong drinks. The beaches had plenty of room, and there was no tourist over crowding, even over a Spring Break weekend. We stayed at the Tamarindo Dira Hotel, which seemed to be one of the nicest in the area, and offered a perfect ocean front experience.
I'm confident this wont be the last time we make a trip to Costa Rica.
